I love Pete Seeger. He is comforting every day, but this song reminds me to think about how much more people who have suffered endemic poverty and/or racism are suffering right now and how much more the government’s dithering will effect them. Okay, now I’m not relaxed anymore.., but yes, lots of reasons for hope! As a people we have always been resilient.
