Yesterday I tried acupuncture for the first time. This morning I feel more relaxed than I have all week. Thanks to J.D.M. for repeatedly recommending the acupuncturist to me, and thanks to D.H. for being absolutely relentless in expounding on the virtues of acupuncture and other aspects of Eastern medicine. My health is still at a low point, but for the first time all week I feel like things are moving in the right direction.
Thanks for listening and understanding, World. Regular blog posts are sure to return sooner rather than later. Peace, Liza
Glad it helped. Just started a class in Meditation and Mindfulness.
That’s awesome! I have found meditation & mindfulness to be very helpful! But I’m still a novice….
Good for you Liza. Glad it helped. I used to do acupuncture on the regular . Wishing you the best and continued healing.
Awesome! Thanks, Liz!
I used to go to Nabacu (nabacu.com). The acupuncturist was wonderful and the therapeutic massage even more so. I would have one followed by the other and it was completely covered by my blue cross blue shield. Best to call them rather than contact them by email. Good luck.
I’m checking them out now. Thanks so much for the recommendation!
Don’t push yourself. Just let the experience of the trauma wash through you at its own pace. I’m glad the acupuncture is helping. Good job taking care of you!
Thanks, Jean!!
Just take it easy. Read, write, enjoy taking the time your body needs to repair itself.
Thanks, Jack! Hope your writing is going well!
You are indeed a very courageous women, Liza. If you even have the slightest fear of needles, you certainly don’t show it. I truly admire you as you make your continuing course on road to recover after everything you’ve been through. ๐
Aw thanks…. that means a lot to me….
very courageous WOMAN, by the way. LOL!
I am multiple people, you know….
and the road to RECOVERY, too. ๐
